Fritter Burger

Burger

1 lb ground beef
Sea salt and pepper
Garlic powder 
Onion powder

Liberally season the beef and mix well.  Form into 3 patties.  Take your thumb and press halfway into the center of the patty. 

Onion, cut in half and slice thinly, coat with olive oil and sea salt, and grill for about 10 minutes. 

Broccoli Fritter Buns

Taken from Brittany Angell (PS love her stuff!)

3 cups shredded broccoli (stalks only)
1 cup cheddar cheese (Organic Valley raw organic mild cheddar)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon garlic
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup almond flour
1/3 cup starch (Tapioca, Potato or Arrowroot)

Shred the broccoli stalks using a food processor or hand grater.
Finely chop a small onion and measure out 1 cup.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, cheese, onions, salt, black pepper, almond flour, and starch until it holds together.
Using your hands, make flat patties of the mixture. Each patty should use approximately 1/4 cup of filling.  Pan fry the fritters over medium heat in a nonstick pan with coconut oil. Cook until brown and crispy, about 2 minutes on each side.

Avocado Cream Sauce

1-2 avocado
1 small container of greek yogurt or the top of the cream from a can of coconut cream
2 green onions
Sea salt

Combine the avocado, cream, and green onions in a food processor and process until creamy. Season with salt.
